A smooth ride.
by Bandit33 on 8/9/2025 9:06:14 PM
One of the best driving cars I've ever driven even at 260,000+ miles. A great suv. Great engine. The only major issue was a pcm problem, which when replaced everything was fixed. Great parts. I take care of it on oil changes, transmission fluid changes (every 25000 miles due to an unchangeable internal filter), transfer case and rear differential oil changes as needed. One of Fords best cars. - 5.0
I love my 2006 Ford escape.

We bought this car brand new, had to replace transmission at 85,000 miles. I read that's kind of the downfall of the escape. Here it is 2024 almost 25 and she's still on the road. It handles great in the Winter and is a blast in the Summertime River trips. It can haul a lot and is easy to keep clean. It has been the best car I have ever had. Never will I sell her. - 5.0

only know about the one I have. this thing has been across country pulled behind a motorcoach and driving it solo multiple times. I really haven't been nice to this car at all, except for changing the oil always. this 2001 ford escape xls 2.0 4x4 has been an awesome vehicle on road off road other than normal maintenance. this car has proven itself time, and time again never let me down ever.great car all around I won't be getting rid of mine.
